FOCUSED ON CRITICAL
METALS
Exploring and developing a high quality portfolio of assets in Southern Africa
About First Africa Metals
First Africa Metals is a private UK company. We have acquired several high-quality tenements that are prospective for lithium, tin and critical metals in the prolific Choma Tin Belt; Zambia.
First Africa Metals is a private UK company. We have acquired several high-quality tenements that are prospective for lithium, tin and critical metals in the prolific Choma Tin Belt; Zambia.
Tin has been produced from the Choma Tin Belt since the 1930’s with artisanal lithium and tin mining still active in the area.
The Choma Belt is host to fertile LCT pegmatite intrusions penetrating high metamorphic grade meta-seds along peripherals of the Kalomo. Batholith.

Our commodity focus
Li | Lithium
Extensively used in batteries of all sizes around the world with demand expected to increase by 5x by 2030.
Sn | Tin
Essential in the production of semiconductors with expected market size of USD 10B by 2032.
Nb | Niobium
Niobium has multiple uses in modern technology, from MRI scanners and jet engines down to steel girders and oil and gas pipelines.
Our projects
The Misika Tenement is the southernmost tenement of the portfolio and covers an area of 977.67 Ha.
We secured this tenement through a joint venture with the local Chief and community which holds significant ground in the Mapatizya area.
FAM has a 78% equity interest in the MisikaProject, with scope to increase this further.
The tenement is host to significant LCT pegmatites, rich in lithium bearing minerals including spodumene, lepidolite, pollucite and montebrasite.
Konayuma Prospect is located 33KM to the NE of Misika and covers an area of 1,129Ha.
Historically mined for tin by artisanal miners, an open pit targets several pegmatite zones running parallel to the NE.
Rock Valley comprises a 6,418Ha land package 60km SE of the town of Choma. Is host to pegmatitic granites and metamorphic gniess.Exploration is focused on lithium, tin and niobium.
Rock Valley was acquired for it’s potential for discovery of tin, tantalum, and niobium. Artisanal mining occurs in the eastern portion of the tenement.
The structures that host a series of tin/niobium mines extend to the eastern portion of the tenement making this area prospective for new discoveries.
